For Math Teachers to Reflect

The process of "doing" mathematics is far

more than just calculation or deduction; it involves observation of patterns, testing

of conjectures, and estimation of results. So I think, problems are the heart of mathematics. This is a challenging preparation for math teachers. Teachers must continue to do and learn mathematics so that they will be able to prepare problems to be given in class, more than only exercises.
